Taare Zameen Par - My point of view

Well first of all 4 stars.
Now I will explain that.
Story - I liked the story, it wasn't something new. But it was somewhat realistic and people can relate to it. I don't know how popular dyslexia is though. Because I didn't have that much idea about it. And I don't think the average person would be knowing too.

Acting - I keep forgetting the actor's name every time, but Darsheel's acting was top class. Can't expect anything better from a new child actor. And man does he know how to cry? It had the same effect as seeing Aamir cry in DCH, every time Darsheel did in this movie.
All the actors in the movie were able to portray the character to the point, even the kid playing Yohan. Aamir was good, although I thought he had teary eyes more often than needed.

Direction - As said above, Aamir had teary eyes more than needed. Then I particularly didn't like the entry scene for Aamir, it was too dramatic. It should have been a little elegant and a little funny, not a dhamaka and a song was too much (for me. Actually I excused myself to the restroom at that point, as we don't have intermission in theaters in US). But many people did like it though. And the 3rd point is the interaction between Aamir and Darsheel wasn't shown that much. How he transformed the boy was not shown properly. It just happened. This is why I took away 1 star.

Songs - Well actually I can give 6 stars to the songs. They were delightful and lyrics were very intense. Well just skip Bam Bam Bhole, pass it to the kids, they would love it.

What else is there, I think I covered everything. My first review, I mean first take on a movie on my blog. I am no way a reviewer, this is just my point of view. (Disclaimer!)
